ROOMS
We have created bathrooms, saunas and steam rooms from concrete slab basements; Master suites have grown from garages; bedrooms have turned into bathrooms; “Harry Potter” powder rooms emerge tucked beneath staircases.
COLORS
From dynamic to subtle, from soft to bold, color is the heart’s singing the song of the soul. We love white – for Solstice snow and perhaps divine light – but it shouldn’t be painted on your walls; it plays an important role in the palette of your home. White is a powerful accent. It’s rarely a wall color.
CONSULTATION
Whether designing new floors or walls to match your existing furnishings, or working with you to create a complete ensemble of texture, color, furniture and flow, our goal is to assist in expressing you. It’s not about our vision; it’s about helping you discover yours.
CONSTRUCTION
We’ve moved walls and added walls, created rooms and removed them, vaulted ceilings, accessed attics, re-wired and re-plumbed. Almost anything is possible. Construction is the key to harmonious space and good, clean flow.
DESIGN
Though we have occasionally worked with architects and their drawings, we prefer the more organic, interactive flow of working directly with homeowners. You shouldn’t be made to feel like a noisy child at a family picnic – this is your party. (Although we have had several clients who have said “Here’s the budget, here’s what I like, I’m going on vacation for four months, surprise me!”)
HOUSE SITTING
The very best time to undertake a home project is when you’re on vacation. You return relaxed, and walk into transformation. This requires trust and communication; when all elements are present, the results are magical.
